Jamie Taras, who played 16 seasons (1987–2002) with the Lions at fullback and offensive lineman, and Eric Carter, a cornerback who starred for five seasons with the Lions (1999-2003), will be inducted at halftime during the Lions’ home opener against the Montreal Alouettes (7 p.m., TSN).

Tarras, a two-time CFL all-star, played as fullback for his first four seasons with the Lions before bulking up and making the move to the offensive line where he became a team stalwart at guard and, later, centre.
