Connor Charles Hellebuyck (/ˈhɛləbək/ HEL-ə-bək; born May 19, 1993) is an American professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently playing for the Winnipeg Jets in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Jets in the 5th round (130th overall) of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms with goaltender Connor Hellebuyck on a six-year deal worth $37 million. The contract carries an average annual value of $6.167 million.

Hellebuyck had a breakout season in 2017-18, appearing in 67 games and setting single-season franchise records for wins (44), shutouts (6), and save percentage (.924). The 25-year-old was a finalist for last season’s Vezina Trophy.

In 149 career NHL regular season games, Hellebuyck has an 83-41-14 record with 12 shutouts, a 2.55 goals-against average, and .917 save percentage.

Hellebuyck was originally selected by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2012 NHL Draft.

Forty-three National Hockey League players have filed for salary arbitration. Two more Golden Knights, defenceman Colin Miller and forward Tomas Nosek, also are on the list of players electing to have an arbitrator determine their contracts, the NHL Players’ Association announced on Thursday.
